Default 98 Honda forman backfire problem

Ok so here is the problem I have a 98 Forman S just did a top end job on it, new piston, rings, valves, valve seats and had to boar it over .025. I also put a new muffler on it that I bought from huperparts.com that is supposed to be just like stock.

But know it back fires when you engine brake. I don’t know If the carb need to be jetted or if the new muffler that doesn’t have enough back pressure. I know the valves are adjust right and everything that got put back together right and in the right order.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

also check that the air filter is connected correctly and the boot from the carb to the cylinder is not damaged or if its on snug.
