Going to buy a 2001 Rancher ES 4x4 within the next week or so but I can't decide which color to get. I like the green and the orange. I think the orange would hide scratches a little better but green would be good for hunting. Which color is the most popular? thanks for any input.

 

I have a orange one and it does hide scrathes better,and i have seen more orange ones than any other color,I guess it matters if you hunt alot,and you are buying a awesome quad!

 

well, personally the green is more of a utility or working color hunting etc., the orange is just awsome, it is flashy, your buddies would think it was cooler, unless u are getting a quad for working, then get the green one. I think the orange is really cool. Of course that is just my opinion.

we hunt alot, and my friends red one looks much more "honda" but the green one never gets spotted by other hunters or land owners

 

Get the green one... you wouldn't want to look like a copycat, since I picked up my Orange one yesterday...very cool. (just kdding BTW)

Heck with it, get whichever jumps out at you when you walk in the door, the first impulse...I bet it'll be the orange one, the human eye is attracted to the color first, hence baketball rims, highway signs/workers, etc. That statement was profound... sorry, I got all "human behavior on ya"

Seriously, just go with the first instinct and have a great time.

 

I personally think the orange one is quite ugly, looks like a faded red, i am most likly going to be buying a rancher soemtime this month and i would like a green most of all, but if I cant find a green one i am going for red, but to me price is more of a factor than color so i am going to look for the best deal then worry about color.

 

Orange is a really cool color, to bad the dealer was sold out. Our Rancher is red, after all isn't that the "official" Honda color.

Really wanted orange since the rain suit that I use is also orange. Then you could have called it the great pumpkin!

 

I have a red one and I think it is the nicest color. Its a really nice red, I originally wanted orange, but after i kept looking at it, i began to dislike it.
Its all personnal preference.
Just to let some of you know, many people i have talked to bought a orange one, then regretted it. they said after looking at my red one, they should have got that color!
