has anyone had experience with cobra pipes or know anything to say about them im lookin to get one

 

never had one but havent heard much good about them. for a little extra loot you can grab a full fmf powercore system. im familuar with that one. ive got it on a 300ex and like it alot just had to get the quiet core cus its a little loud. ive gotta lexx slip-on, on my 400 which is great. not to loud. which i believe the cobra is very loud, depending which you get. the lexx is also in expensive. under 200 shipped on ebay. dont really need a full system unless you go to a higher compression or bore kit.

 

One of my friends put a cobra exhaust on his 300ex and it got us kicked out of a riding spot on private land because it is so loud. if i were you i would look into either the lexx, or FMF, or yoshimura pipes for your wheeler. they are a little more pricey but they are worth it. I have a Lexx slip on, on the way for my 05 400ex and i cant wait for it. i would spend a little extra cash on a better brand pipe. IMO

 

honestly i dont mind the cobra i got one for my girlfriends 300ex and it made a good amount of power for 150$.....it is really load though so that depends where you ride....the black exhaust that cobra has the paint melts of in an hour then gets rusty if you ride in the rain or a rainy region.....

 

Where did you get your cobra pipe? I Google searched it and this thread popped up so I'm curious looking to get one for my 400ex
