Question Box liner spray on Foreman racks?

I'm thinking of having my front and back racks sprayed with Vortex liner spray.
It is similar to Rhino and Line-x. Has anyone tried it?
It would prevent plastic cases (tool boxes, gun cases)from sliding around.
The guy said $50.00 cash would cover it.
Any thoughts?

Haven't done it but I'm interested in how it turns out. I wish there were some aftermarket racks similar to Polaris (plastic?), I've been a Honda guy for years but man those painted racks look like heck after I've hauled all the stuff I need.

I just saw some some pics of this same thing. I think it was in the utility discussion forum. Looked pretty sweet.

I'm going to take the racks off this weekend and have it done, I have to hit them with 80 grit paper so "it bites" I love it.
I will send the pics when its done.

I had mine sprayed with Line-x on my 05 Rubicon about 2 years ago and it is still holding up. It costs 50 bucks to have it done. Well worth it my opinion.

If you want I can post pics of it.

I have never heard of Vortex. Is that a company like Line-x or you do it yourself?

Angler
Vortex is a company like Line-X. It is supposed to be a little "stickier" than Line-X
but not quite as "sticky" as Rhino.

Yamaha has this done on ther atvs factory and I think its really smart move, I own nothing but Hondas and the racks are just destroyed from the usage that they get, and I have to paint them all the time and that gets boring.
