400ex Jetting!

Default 400ex Jetting!

I have a 2005 400ex and it has a K&N air filter and a white brothers e series slip on and i run with air box lid off and at an altitude of about 1100 and i have a dynojet jet kit and it shows that i should run a 170 main but that seem high to me. What does everybody else run? thanks

im running a 155/42 kehein. have slip on,k&n w/drilled lid and removed choke.

I would. That's what DJ recommends. I had an EX with the same setup. Same exhaust and all. I ran the 160 thinking 170 was to big. I quickly switched to the 170 because I was lean. 170 was spot on. My bro got away with the 165 with a stock filter.

isnt the dynojet 170 the same as a kehein 190. that seems way big. maybe that chart is off. i found it on here. not sure.

ya that would seem huge...I got a 165 dynojet in it know and my exhaust should be here monday so I will do some testing with it and find out.
