4wd question
#1
I have a 2008 rancher 420 ES. When I place the 4wd shifter in 4wd and drive around I have no problems, but when I stop and place the shifter back into 2wd the 4wd indicator light stays lit until I drive around or rap the throttle a couple times. is this normal operation.

This is normal. Basically it will shift when the torque is off the front end, so you often have to move the quad a bit.
4x4 systems in trucks and other equipment often act the same way.
Enjoy the excellent quad, and welcome to the forum.
