2005 400ex cold blooded

Default 2005 400ex cold blooded

I wanted to know if a CDI box would help with a 2005 400ex That is very cold blooded and hard to start at first

mine use to be a beoytch to start too i put a 42 pilot jet in now i dont even need choke.you should do the main jet too they are lean from the factory.i wouldnt mess with the cdi.

I don't think a CDI would help either, I have one and it doesn't. However the pilot jet like mentioned above did.

It is just stock for now it has a k&n but the airbox lid id still on should I still do a 42 pilot and what main should i do

yes do the 42 pilot. go up one or two sizes on main. not sure never jetted something totally stock.i would use a foam filter their better.you wont see a k&n on mine!!!

i absolutely agree with foam filter better and doesnt choke at start
