Default need help finding pistons for 400EX-426EX

Hey guys, a few months ago i bored out my 400 to a 426 with stage 2 cam and all that good stuff.. and it RUNS !!! im runnin 11:1 comp. and want to up it to 12:1. But all i can find is 10:1, 11:1, and 13:1... i really dont want to go that high for reliability purposes.. but does anyone know where i could get an 88mm 426 piston for 12:1, or will a 13:1 be pretty reliable???? let me know something, Thanks.

I know that i seen a 12:1 and 11.5:1 on ebay, I believe it is a JE or JT piston. CP pistons also have one available.

ya i looked em up yesterday on je's actual site and it says they dont even make em, it goes from 11:1 straight to 13:1, but i know iv seen em somewhere before...... would a 12 or 13:1 over 11 give any noticable difference anyway??

Other than maybe spending more on race gas I really don't know. We went with a 12:1 in the 400EX from stock and that did make a noticable difference against a stop watch. But it gets a little expensive feeding it if you are just using it as a trail machine.

ya man i hear ya, i ride dirtbikes though, I bought this as a blown up repo, and with the 426 kit, cam, bore, exhaust, and some other things im just at 1000 buck, and thats countin what i paid for the bike, so its jus an extra play toy to mess around on. i guess ill just try the 12:1 and see what happens. Thanks
