I just ordered an E series slip-on. I was wondering what jetting most people were running with stock motor and K&N filter. No mods to the airbox. FMF says to run the stock pilot and 138 main with their megamaxII. So I thought that should be a good place to start with the E series. And also, how does everyone like their E series on their 300ex's? I do alot of trail riding and hillclimbing. I live in Kentucky, just to let you know the climate.

I am running a 130 main on my wife's and a 250x cam and a 2" hole in the airbox lid and running 6 discs on the WB E Series. Its a little loud, but it runs great.

I just got mine put on, and I agree that it is loud! I tried removing some disc's and it didn't seem to make much difference on how loud it was. I haven't done any jetting as of yet. I'm gonna put it on a dyno this week and see what works best. I'll post the results. Thanks for the reply, I hoped to get a few oppinions but only got the one.

Whatever you do, don't use the kind of jets you make parts for. They are way, way too big...

I was planning on using a CFM or T700 jet engine, do you think that is too big? (Just to explain this post, Bash and myself work for a jet engine manufacturer)
