Default TRX250 Tie rod ends...is this normal?

On my 86 TRX250 Utility I've noticed that the outside tie rod ends are sloppy! I have ordered new tie rod ends but haven't taken the old ones off yet. I'm afraid the steering knuckle might me wallowed out...is this normal or do the tie rod ends wear after awhile causing this? I'd hate to have to replace the steering knuckle, it looks like the steering knuckle is one piece.

I had a 87 trx 250. We had to replace the tie rod ends 2 times over the years. If yours are stock I would say you got your moneys worth out of them. Tie rod ends do wear out.

That's good to hear! I really didn't want to hear that the steering knuckle hole wallows out!?

Got the outside tie rod ends installed! Boy, what a difference that made! Once I get the bottom steering shaft rebuilt, the steering should be as tight as it should be!
