400ex problem!
Hello, I don't know alot about four-wheelers like the rest of you but I know some of it. I had a question about my 03 Honda 400ex. I got in a little wreck the other day and for some reason the rear right back tire has been quite a bit wobbly. So I quickly checked it over, tightened the red thing inside of the tire and put the tire back on and made sure the nuts were on tight. It still wobbled of course and now I have no clue what to do??? Could it be the rim on the tire or something? Thank you!
I got some info from some guys and it looks to me like the right side spindle deal is wobbly. I tightened it up from the outside but it didnt do anything. Any info?

You either bent your rim our axle.
Put your quad on a stand with the rear wheels off the ground and then remove the right wheel, not the hub (red thing). Start the quad and put it in gear. Let the axle spin and see if the end of it spins off center. If it does, you have a bent axle, if it doesn't, re-install the rear wheel and again see if it spins off center. If it does, you have a bent wheel. Much easier and les money to replace a bent wheel than a bent axle. I read in the other thread that you thought it might be the hub (you called it the spindle) To remove the hub, remove the cotter pin and then the nut, then pull the hub off. You should also check at that time if your axle spins true or off center. I would guess that it is more likely to bend an axle than a hub, but check both.

Exrod is right on, I would put my money on the axle though. Wheel, axle not much $$$ on ebay. I know 100 is a lot but in this fine sport get used to it, racing mx with 2 kids, me and mom to get in and enter 2 classes is 115.00. Makes a guy think more about a zebco 202 and dozen night crawlers LOL
