Default 88 Honda Foreman

Just bought a used 1988 Honda 350D Foreman/TRX, did I really need the "used" in there? Yes, I do because at first glance it doesn't look like an ATV of legal age to drink, it's a well kept machine and runs great.

Digressing, my main purpose is to work it, pull a couple trees out of the woods for firewood (of sizable nature of course) and, mainly, to plow the driveway and mailbox area this winter. I knew going in that it would be difficult to 1. determine if it will take a plow 2. find one 3. find one for a bargainable price. I called a not so local Honda dealer and he let me know that it is possible, but I would be dropping $6-700 for the entire deal (the mount kit, blade, lift, and push tube)... okay, so be it if I have to.

My question for you experienced riders is this, If I were to purchase the $85 mount, could I then buy any universal blade, tube and lift and expect it to fit? I am looking to possibly buy some used items and keep my investment to a mere couple/few hundred instead of giving in a letting the dealer sqeeze me.

I've done the web search thing and been to a dozen sites but none indicate that what they sell would fit.

Please help and thank you in advance.

i know i fitted a cycle country plow for a rancher 350 to an old foreman D. dont go universal, i see more plrobems with those than trying to fit up something close. rancher 350 frame size is close to foreman350s.
