GET ALLOYS!

then she would be a real hummer ($$?)

.....ummm.....measure the stud centres on the rims and have a look round on for some with matching centres (second hand).........ie start looking at the 250x/300ex (to get an idea measure the centres of a brand new one in a honda shop).....might even be able to find some off a 200x or something.......i dunno what/which honda bikes match wheel centres.....sorry

atv_man......can't ever recall been able to adjust the spring tension on the rear shock of my machine......if its REAL hard it might be getting tired.....my 250sx's one is like that.......recommend if you want a adjustable one.....buy a works one or if you a poor like me think a bit......take it off.....go down to a motor bike wrecker find a rebuildable one that is the same length......take the spring out of the old shock......stuff it in the new one when it is rebuilt (i put a xr600 shock in my 250x with a bit of modifcation......my mechanic helped out there).....

i had a friend at home shift the front shock top mounts and put larger shocks up front (on his one).....thaat was pretty cool

do the front stud patttern the same between the type 1 and type2 200sx?.......putting some 10inch front rims on would make it look pretty cool

Hey mine was down to 2 inches once when the tires were really low for mud...now my tires are pumped up because I learned that I needed more ground clearance than traction....I know it was stupid at 2inches.

And on the weekend I rolled my ATV and smashed the headlight and bent the metal frame for it...can I just get a piece of glass and put it on and seal it up??...I will bend the frame back

Now think how stupid a piece of glass would look. It would probably be to thick anyway. Just buy another one.

I'm not buying a new housing for my headlight...the glass piece is with the housing...which would be at LEAST $30...theirs no point in getting a new housing for the bulb.
Why would you waste money on a light??...I got more important things to buy.

What do you suggest I do then??

Take the damn thing off. Ride it without a headlight. Or better yet I've got a headlight that came off a yamaha atv and it fit my 200sx. Its in good condition and i'll sell it to you. It gets pretty bright too. Matches up to the sx wiring too.

Ya I have to have that special piece of glass for the light with the waves and grooves in it. I guess its to reflect the light so it doesn't shine like a ball when your in the dark.
Maybe a car light piece of glass might work.

I need to make a steel brush guard for my light....I bet if I would have had a brush guard on my light it wouldn't have smashed.

I wrecked mine while racing a 3-wheeler last year and busted the headlight to, I just measured, and cut out a piece of plexie glass and put over it. Looks like **** but works. I have got Cheng-Shin mud/snow tires on my 200sx, I love them, they say for better traction in snow to reverse them, never took the time.

you can find a car headlight that will fit your bike and it will be like 10 times brighter.
