I need everyones thoughts and takes on a aftermarket cdi box for a 06 trx450r...Thanx

 

are you hitting the stock limiter now? i dont think id wanna rev that engine another 1000rpms.

 

I put a Big Gun cdi on my '04 450r. I didn't like it. It made it harder to start, it would load up more and it didn't seem to help the performance.
My 450r is far from stock, I have a 480 big bore jug, a ported and polished head, a stage 2 hotcam, open air box with uni filter and a full Yosh exhaust. I figured an after market cdi would add a little more but I feel mine runs better on the stock cdi.

 

Thanx..Im gonna stay with the stock cdi box...
