honda hrc kit

Default honda hrc kit

does the hrc kits make a big difference in the honda's and is it worth the money. it's goin into a 08 trx450er

yes the HRC kits are very nice, i have seen a few honda 450s with those kits and they were quick , just do a search on youtube and youll see what i mean.

From all I've heard it makes a big difference.
I went a different route. I installed an Athena 480 big bore, a Stage II Hotcam, ported and polished head, open air box and a full Yoshimura exhaust.
I couldn't be happier with the results.

Best mod you can ever make for the money! It will net you mostly mid to high end, but compared to the other 450's the R already has great low end.

The fastest R I know of, has nothing but an HRC kit. All the components are tuned to go perfectly together....unlike cobing together a bunch of aftermarket parts that may not be perfectly compatible. I know that the uncorked stock muffler isn't very sexy, but it is still excellent. And, you get a header with the HRC kit.

My buddies who have done a bunch of other stuff like porting etc, have not netted anything significant for their efforts.....
