That's right, it will be quicker.
Some people don't understand that there is a difference between quicker and faster.

Your Honda might not be as quick as the scrambler, but at least it will be running all of the time instead of broke an in the garage. I learned my lesson about polaris years ago. Hondas ever since an never had one broke either.

sotexy2, how did you get yours to 50mph? I get mine up to about 40 and the motor or something starts to rattle like its going to blow apart.

Back when my wife rode a 250EX I piped it, opened up the airbox and rejetted it. It would reach the rev limiter really quick, so be ready for that.

took my 250ex out today and got it up to 40. the engine doesn't rattle it just sounds like it's way reved up and I don't dare try to push it to 50mph, cause I'm afraid that i might ruin the motor or something. I guess my speedometer could always be off and not telling me the right speed.

I have a 2008 250ex, and I have a trail tech vapor computer speedometer/tachometer. but I think that I might check it with my gps unit just to see how accurate the vapor computer is. also ae you running the stock size tires? or what size tires do you have? thanks.
