Get the HRC kit!!!! It will net you big mid and high end gains!

For the price of an aftermarket exhaust, you will get a cam and airbox mods, a header, and uncork the stock muffler, and jets. I know the stock muffler isn't very sexy, but the fastest 450 I know of, has nothing but an HRC kit!!!

If you have money to burn, then an FMF Factory 4.1 full system with MegaBomb.....along with the HRC kit!

i would rather not get the hrc kit because for a little more i could get a cam pipe and rev box for about the same price i though alot about the hrc kit and i know it adds about 15 hp but then im wasting 400-500 dollars when i upgrade it even more

The thing about the HRC kit, is that it is put together by Honda engineers who designed the engine, and everything goes together in a completely balanced fashion. When you start cobbing together aftermarket mods form a bunch of different manufacturers, sometimes they don't go together so well, and the sum is less than the total of the different parts. Little details that most folks overlook, like larger crankcase vent, etc., matter....and these aren't the kind of things an aftermarket company who sells cams or whatever is going to include.

With the HRC kit you are getting proven results (ask anybody who runs one), not just the marketing hype of a bunch of different aftermarket guys.

I'm confused. You looking to buy a 450R for your grandma and put on the pipe she got you then get a new one for yourself? Let me say that again...buy your grandma a 450R. Awesome.

My bro likes his yoshi exhaust. I think its the TRC. Heard the HMF's are great too.
