check ALL electrical connections for moisture, clean with air and apply silicon grease to all plugs, ie. connections. This is a major problem with the es. type bikes.

i have no idea what it means to preload the angle sensor..what would be the correct procedure to do so and is the new sensor i bought still good...everything was fine until i removed the old angle sensor..i did the troubleshooting and found that it was a code 6..i did the troubleshooting because it was sputtering in reverse..forward gears worked just fine..when i took the sensor off that is when the screen started blinking and it seems to have lost power..thanks again for any help

It will be ok when the angle sensor is pre-loaded .. The ECM uses the angle sensor to monitor the position of the swash plate , when the angle sensor is installed right the shift control motor will park the swash plate in 1st. gear ..
