400EX Starting problem

Its a 2000 400ex and it wont start with the starter but you can push start it. It cranks but wont start. What do I need to check?

is the battery charged?if so you might need to clean the start button out.their is also a fuse by the battery.

I figured it out. The batter would turn the moter over but not enough to start put a charger on it and started right up.
