I race mx and I want to get into woods racing. I know about both machines, but can't decide on 1. Which one would be better on the track and in the woods. Thank you

Basically here is what a boils down to, If you want to go really fast (dunes, drags, fields) buy a banshee. If you like to ride in the woods, and jump, better go with the 400ex. Sounds like the type of riding you want to do you would need the 400ex, unless its really, really, really open woods.

I agree totally.... i love the banshee.... but for woods and jumping the 400 is the way to go.... but other wise, hill climbing, dunes, open fields.... the banshee...

i own both, and, the 400ex is my choice for tight
woods racing.the ex (to me) feels much more stable
and controlable off of big jumps too.i'm not
downing a banshee by all means, because it is one
hell of a fast machine, and in any other condition,
i'll take the banshee......
