Default Need a little more help please

Thanks for all the help on my other post. The first question is I took my 300ex down to the river about 3 weekends ago. The problem that I have is I had water in the carrier bearing today when I went to adjust the chain. Is that normal or am I missing a seal or something. The next question that I have would be, what is a good tire pressure for all around riding. Thanks again for all the help.

I run my tires with 5 lbs. As for the carrier, I know they call the seals "dust seals". But I dont know if the seals are supposed to keep water out. I would find it hard to believe that any carrier is 100% water proof. How much water leaked out when you adjusted the chain?

I would not worry about it. If your carrier has a grease zerk just keep the carrier full of grease.
