I was wondering what the top speed was on the 2001 Honda Reacon and the 2001 Honda 400ex. I want the top speed of them both when they are stock. Also does anyone know what most dealers are selling there RED 2001 400EX for? If anyone lives in North Carolina and knows what Charlotte Honda Yamaha are selling them for please let me know. my recon went atleast 50 stock i went aginst my dads 450es and he was going 49 and i was still gaing more speed

 

well now my beartracker runs 44 and the recon is just alittle bit slower than it so it runs about 42-43 and my 400ex ran 59 when it was stock..

My Recon has been clocked at 42mph on top. Not bad for a 250 four stroke utility. Most 400's, i believe do about 60 mph on top.
