Default need help with rancher after putting carb on

i just took carb apart and cleaned everything and then blew out everything with compressed air, put jets back and screwed them all down excpet the pilot screw, put everything back together and put all new hoses on it and a new primer. The rancher finally starts now which it didnt before and will stay running at idle but as soon as u try to give it any gas it bogs down till it almost quits then let throttle back off and runs prefectly at idle. Any ideas guys?

Sounds like a plugged up main jet to me. Take a look at the main jet again.
BTW, you should use carb cleaner instead of air, that way you can see what is going on.

Default I used both

Believe me i used both and found out my gloves didnt stand up very well to the carb cleaner. I couldnt remember if all the jets were screwed all the way down or not, i wasnt smart enough to check before i took them out.

THANKS

Default UPDATE on RANCHER

Well I covered 75% of the air intake and it runs fine, full throtle, no bogging or backfiring, so what does this mean?

It's lean for some reason.
90% chance the main jets or circuit is clogged up.
8% chance you have a vacuum leak somewhere.
2% chance is something bazaar.

Speaking of bazaar!!!!

This happend to me at the race track the other night.
We hotlapped the car for about 10 laps and all was good.
On the next set the car came in and was so loaded up with fuel it would not even run.
Gas was pouring out of the carb like a waterfall!!
Got the car back to the pits and took the float bowl off.
Flipped the float bowl over and the float hit the roof of the bowl!!
What the#$%%??? How did that get that far out of adjustment??
I took the needle and seat out the the bowl and found out the rubber tip came off of the needle in pieces!!!

I have never seen or even heard of this happening. Really weird!!!

Just goes to show you strange things can happen.

Is the main jet supposed to be screwed in all the way? I just cleaned out the whole carb last week, i figure it something i done when putting it back together. I got some clear fuel hose and the i.d. was bigger, could it be getting to much gas?

Are you running it with the airbox, filter and lid in place? You have to have teh whole airbox on the bike for it to run right.

Most definately tighten the jets down snug (don't strip them out, but make sure they are tight) If you don't have the pilot and main jet tight, it will knock the fuel/air flow all out of whack. also make sure the idle mix screw is set about 2 turns out to start, that should get you a decent idle until you get it warmed up and running.
