Default 1984 TRX 200 Help!

I have a 1984 Honda TRX 200. I had the carb cleaned last fall and used the machine throughout deer season. I haven't started it since probably May. I pulled it out in preperation for hunting season the other day and tried to start it. It didn't cooperate. Engine turns over but won't fire. I checked the air filter to make sure there wasn't something obstructing it, replaced the spark plug, (made sure the fuel was indeed on), even sprayed a little carb cleaner into the air intake. It starts and runs great until the carb cleaner is used up. Any ideas on what the problem is? Am I gonna have to take it back in for carb work?

Thanks in advance!

You need to store it with fuel stabiliser / avgas 100ll in it. Yes you will need to clean the carb again, assuming the fuel lines haven't disintegrated, and the fuel filter is not completely bunged up.

Conincidently have you changed the oil / filter, air filter, adjusted the clutch, valves etc lately?

i have the same 4 wheeler and never had an issue with it since it was new in 84. did you check your fuel cutoff switch to make sure it is in the correct position and not in the 'off' position?

i would take the carb off then take the float bowl off then take the float off make sure not to loose anything or bend anything then blow compressed air tough put it all bake together put fresh gas in it and see it works alot of times for meits really not that hard to clean a carb just take it slow
