Hello,

I have an '06 TRX400 that will be needing new tires soon. I am interested in either the Dunlop KT335 or something like it. I have come across a warning from Dunlop that states these tires should not be mounted on 2 piece wheels (like the Honda stockers). Does anybody know why this is? Or what problem do you risk if you ignore the warning?

Honda used 2 piece rims on most ATC models until about 1983-84 depending on model .. And early TRX70 models .. It would take an hour to go thru all my manuals to list all models with 2 piece rims .. The beads on the tire are different between 1 piece & 2 piece rims ..
