Default 400ex chain adjusting instructions?

Can anybody tell me how to adjust the chain on my 400ex? It is too loose and rattles a lot so I am trying to fix this before it turns into a big problem. Thank you.

I know you guys buy these things used and they don't have the owner's manuals, but best to go spend a few bucks and get an owner's and service manual right away when you get a new machine! Two pictures in the manual will tell you the whole story easier than anyone can ever explain it.

Easiest chain adjuster in the industry! The bearing carrier is excentric, so rotating it tightens or loosens the chain. Undoo the 4 bolts at the back of the swingarm, rotate the ring that is next to the sprocket, toward the rear. A C-wrench for adjusting shocks works best. Leave 30-40mm of slack in the chain. Retighten the bolts.
