is their any option for having a headlight, but eliminating the dated square one? like using a 400's headlight? any ideas?

 

i would like to know this one too.

 

on my 300 i just took it off same with my 450 i don't need it but just buy some 400ex plastic and the headlight to go with that plastic all the brackets match up the only thing you have to really do is hook up the wires to the headlight.

 

On mine I put a set of handlebars on that had a brace, so the stock light just didn't work. I got a 250X setup (through the dealer) and used that. As I recall, I relocated the key off to the side.
