400ex jetting help???

just go to the dealer and get stock brand bigger jets. when you remove the carb itll be easy to see what needs to be be done if you wanna remove choke. i was able to remove the whole assembly and just put the little black cap back on to block hole where choke was at. its pretty simple once you take it apart. even changing the jets is simple. it takes more time getting the carb out lol

ya, ive taken out and cleaned a rancher carb so i get the basics of it. gonna b doin it in the next cuple days or this weekend so ill let yall know how it goes. gonna start out getn a 152 and 156 main by dyno sizes.

if you wre to get a dynojet 156 it would be smaller then your stock jet

oh, ok, well what is the brand that makes the stock jets? the carb isnt listed as a brand name carb such as a mikuni or keihini.

The carb is a keihin.

are you 100% sure? im not questioning ure judgement, its jst i went to a motorsports store today and they said the jets looked like mikuni on the computer because they were hex jets, not the jets with the flathead tip which are keihin. just dont wana take it back if i dont need to.
