Default 400ex tires

Hi, I've got a honda 400ex and noticed that the stock tires dont have much grip. I ride on mostly hard pack and mud. It seems when ever i go through mud or deep water the stock tires spin and i go no wheres. I also need tires that handle really good on pavement and in snow. I have been looking at mud shark rear tires. What do you guys reconmend???

For hardpack or pavement, I like ITP Holeshots. ITP TIRES - The World's #1 ATV Aftermarket Tire & Wheel Source :: Sport ATV

In all fairness, this isn't a "mud" machine to begin with, so your quad is out of its element! Might check out ITP MudLites SP, but they should be lousy on hardpack and worthless on pavement. Might be ok for snow? ITP TIRES - The World's #1 ATV Aftermarket Tire & Wheel Source :: Mudlight SP

I have mud sharks on one of my wheelers and a friend had them on his years ago they are a super agressive tire and they would not be good fpr pavement, and atvs themselves are not ment for pavement.

I went with a set of these for my Hawk, they have performed very well. I have over 200 miles on them so far with very little noticeable wear and I have to ride 2 miles round trip on the street to get to the trails from my house. I don't know how they do in snow but they do well in mud and on hard packed trails. Spartacus ATV Tires They have alot of different mud tire designs as well you might find somthing you like.

PAVEMENT??? You shouldn't be on the pavement unless you have pavement tires. And if you put pavement tires on, they will be worthless in mud, water, & snow. You can't have a tire that does all those things.

I dont even travel a 1/4 of a mile on pavement. It is just a short street I go down to get to my riding spot.

Ohhhh. Ok then. Performance on pavement shouldn't even be considered then.

Go with the Razrs they make a set for GNCC racing and they would make a great tire for what you need
