I cant get any fire replaced spark plug , ignition module & coil what else can it be?

Stator ! maybe

When I first got my 87 trx 200sx I had the same problem it was in the key switch not allowing a good connection check for contanuity

Wish all this was around back when I had my 200SX...I sold it to a buddy and the damned thing still runs

I have an 86 Honda TRX200SX. The rectifier/regulator on it is mounted on the back of the battery box. Instead of having a plug end on it, it just has the 5 mires coming off of the end. I was gong to just hook them up to the correct color coded wires on the bike, but the other wires are different colors than the wires coming off my rectifier. What do I do? Does anyone have a diagram of this? Please let me know, if you do. Thanks again.

After this great informational post...I finally figured out that my key switch was the problem. I had a loose connection. this post helped me diagnose the problem and I thought that I would post a reply for others. Great forum!!

I just tried this tested my stator....the blue/yellow & green wires. And im not getting any kinda reading. That mean its bad?
