Question Should I Buy or Not????

I looking at buying a 2004 Rancher 400 AT 4x4 for $2000. It has outlaw mud tires, HMF exhaust pipe, 2' lift. The guy says that it sometimes shifts funny, like the motor is bogged down. What kind of money am I looking at to get it running right? Need some advice???

I personally wouldnt buy a used ATV unless I knew the previous owner or the bike was in exceptional condition
I would stay away from one that already shows signs of a possible motor/tranny problem as well but thats just me

And I personally wouldn't buy a NEW atv. I always buy used.

Me too, let someone else be the guinea pig that loses $2000 in the first week. Let them put the first 1000 miles on it then buy it from them for half price,I say.

But I agree with Yammy450,if the ATV is showing problems then skip it,there are so many more out there to chose from without issues.
