Black plastic looks like total crap after your first ride in any sort of mud or dirt...it shows scratches and dirt worse than any other color and you WILL be disappointed in having to deal with the problems.
You know I always thought that about black plastics, but a couple years ago I put black front plastics on my z400 and it still looks pretty good.....No it does not look as good as the yellow on the rear, but its holding up better than I thought..... Maybe the newer plastics are better than they used to be?

Dunno but I can't really complain about the black plastic too much.....

Made a mistake on the price of the 700xx it is $4761.00 Out the door $4299 before taxes and fees and in MS you get hit with a $50 trauma fee that goes to the hospitals. These are quotes from (not trying to advertise here but was asked where) a Honda shop in Brookhaven,MS would say the name but once again not trying to advertise here. Will probably end up going with the 400 for several reasons..mainly it has been around a looong time and if I need parts they will be cheaper and I had a warrior and remember the fun of a SRA. Also my kids will wanna ride it when they are bigger and I would feel better letting them on it than the 700. As far as color I imagine I will end up with red and will be picking this up Wednesday when I get back to land...I work offshore. Thanks to all for your input .

I have seen them for 3200 too..mainly very far from me like in Arizona and I think some up north. In my area that is the best I have seen... I will try to get them to come down some before I sign but if they dont I wont quibble too much that is still a great deal and I like the plastics on the 07's better than the new ones anyway..I asked if they could throw in a loading ramp and they said not at that price but could sell me one for 120 said they would knock 30 off...still gonna try the old "walk out" and maybe I'll get my ramp thrown in..but they are the biggest dealership in the state and may just tell me "well somebody will buy it if you dont"

Yea..here in NC they have a brand new '07 for $3299, which would be $3700 OTD. I know..I checked. Once I get my warrior sold, I am going to pull the trigger on it if they don't sell it first!
