Newbie here - My immediate and extended family are starting to get into quads and here on the farm we have a couple of oldies that need lots of work.

We have a 92' TRX300FW that the rear axle went bad and in the process my father in-law broke the gear case. In looking for a used complete rear end I came across a 00' TRX400FW rear end and wanted to know if was compatible.

Your help is appreciated.

 

Hi,they are different and don't think it will work.Any 88 up TRX-300 Fourtrax differential will work 2 or 4wd.Check Ebay for some deals,there are usually a few listed most of the time.I shop at discounthondaparts.com quite often and they have micro-fisch breakdowns on parts for each year and you can compare models
