I know this subject has been beat completely to death, but I have a 400ex (stock motor, but possible cam and porting work soon) and would like to know which pipe to get between DMC full System, Yoshimaura (however it is spelled) full system, and White Bros. Promeg full system. Any help would be appriciated, thanks.

The Yoshi doesn't have big enough headpipes for good flow, so it wouldn't work that well on a built engine. The DMC is probably the best, then followed by the White bros. If you have the money get the DMC.

 

How does your steering stabilizer work, I just want to know. I'm considering buying one.

 

It's OK, but I couldn't really notice anything until I rode a Quad without one. They're nice to have, and great if you ride MX.

 

Yosh is awesome they waited adn put a lot of R&D into their pipe. Don't waste your money on the Ti though. DMC is LOUD.

 

Loud isn't a problem, as the land I ride on is owned by me or my relatives, and everyone around it rides mx bikes.

 

I did alot of asking around and talking to people last year when i was looking for a pipe for my 400EX. I talked to my dealer( Who has a Pro Circuit pipe on his), and he told me that he rides with 7 other 400EX all with pipes( DMC, Yoshi, White bros., FMF , and the Pro circuit pipes)and the DMC piped 400EX was always the fastest of the bunch. So i bought one, and i love it. After i put in an 11:1 piston, 450/451 Webcam, and Lectron carb, i really love it. Get the DMC!!!

 

Loud pipes save lives!

I just ordered my DMC on tuesday 2/27. I can't wait to try it out.
It can't be any louder than running my old Megamax II straight thru.

well here in indiana ...we dynoed both of these on 400ex and mine with a yosh made more hp and torqu than the dmc .....BUY what you like i prefer the YOSHIMURA...
