so i have just finished the new front end on the 300
picked up a set of 400ex a arms, and tie rods, bolt on obviously
i bought banshee stock shocks off ebay, there were two things to make these fit perfect, the top part i milled nice and the bottom mount was okay, just needed to grind the slider in the bushing
just wanted to share for anyone looking to do the same

So, just using the 300ex spindles has put your fronts that straight? Wow!!! Well I'm sure glad I kept the old ones then! I do appreciate the info! Oh have you had any problems with your set up? I do a lot of trail riding so, I need this mod to be able to hold up to the rides! What type of riding do you use your bike for?

I'm using the Raptor 660 rear shock and the Banshee fronts on a set of 400ex A-arms and my bike sits level! This mod gives me better stability and a better suspension set up! Only thing I need to do now is put the stock 300ex spindles back on the 400ex A-arms to make my wheels sit straight again! I was given bad or incorrect info and I put stock 400ex spindles on! Made my wheels pitch inward up top! Live and learn I guess!

i ride trails, and race local hare scrambles, im here in NY so the trails here are not to rough, so the suspension works great!
im not so sure about the 400ex spindles, never tried them
for the money though, i mean you cant go wrong, the rear shock cost me $10 bucks, and the whole front set up cost me $125
everyones results may differ, but i bet its a average cost of less than 200 for everything
