Sir if you were racing stock on stock the 250ex would never touched the X.Your running 20 inch tires which would acount for it bottoming out all the time along with it running so slow.As for scorpion tires my litle brother runs the on his 125 Suzuki they really aren't high performance.

BornToRace you do ask stupid questions on this forum. by the way do you think your going to find mods for a breeze its nothing but a power wheels with a weedeater motor on it. You need to start listening to expeienced quad riders. AMEN 94DGblaster

I wouldn't knock the Breeze. I bought one for my kids last spring. It's dependable and goes through mud, water and up hills like there's no tomorrow.
Anyway, I've noticed that you like to knock people in this forum quite a bit, which is unfortunate. I've also noticed that you seem to think that your 330 mod (your personal machine) is the fastest machine in the universe. I just say lighten up on people. There's room for everyone's opinion here. That's the whole point of information sharing.

GEEZ, BigBore. Lighten up. When you get older and enter the world of work, you'll realize that there really aren't any stupid questions.
Although, what I'm going to say is without question hypocritical - - are you living in a glass house and throwing stones? I mean your handle is BIGBOREex but you ride a 250EX? Does that sound stupid? Sorry, I take that back. A comment like that was indeed inappropriate.

Thanks for the advice. I will indeed check out the review on the 250EX. I'm looking for a new one right now, however, I was toying with the idea of the 400EX. I just wish it had reverse. I've been by myself in some pretty sticky situations that reverse has helped me out of in the past.

OK look here !!!
I own a 250X (K&N, jetted, cam, 12-tooth front sprocket, 20" Scorpions) and my fiancee' owns a 250EX (stock)... we ride together all weekend long...
that 250EX is REALLY impressive!
it doesn't have the top end, even though I don't have much of one either with my gearing and tires, but for and auto-clutch it can just about hang with me into 4th gear...
once she gets a K&N, jet kit, silencer, and 20" tires... it will probably be all I can go to beat her off the line.
Also... I can do ANY jump on the 250EX that I can do on my 250X
