trying to id a honda fourtrax

Question trying to id a honda fourtrax

just wondering if theres a sight with pics of older model atvs, i looked at one4 sale, gonna pick up tomorrow, great shape its a 2 wheel dr utility has dark green plastic looks newer stickers look newer except size its a 300 or 200 sais fourtrax, nothing else the seat is short front to back maybe 12" all pics i can find show models wlong seat 20" or better, plastic wheels motor tires all look newer, no title gave200its been sitting bout a year, got it runnin bout 20 minutes, has a few issues, has choke in front of bars center, no guages speedo just 3 lights red green etc i'll prob b able to find serial numbers tomorrow just anxious find out what i got

Take down the 17 digit VIN # located somewhere on the frame and take that to your Honda dealer and have him run the VIN.

The VIN will tell you its year and make.

found a sticker its a trx200d 96, never seen one like it before, charging new battery hopefully didnt get hurt, lot of oil buildup on frame near shift lever but 200bucks, hopefully thats nothin too bad, thanks for the info

I've seen a few 200D's. They sure are a strange looking quad. You can put a baby in the trunk.

i just bought a honda trx200d 1992 and the chain jumped off and knocked a hole in the left crankcase cover. anyone care to sell me a used one?

if you cant find a case you can do a cheap patch that might hold ive heard of people useing jb weld to put the piece back in you have to split the cases an clean out any small pieces of the case that may have went inside then after cleaning the area of grime and oil jb weld the broken piece back into place its not a permenent fix but it will get you by untill you can get a replacement case
