Default NEED your guidance and advice on 2008 Honda Foreman Power steering 4x4 foorshift

Hello, I would like some advice from you those that know deals and if I should push forward with a Honda Foreman 4x4 Powersteering and foot shift for $5000 through in individual. It has 14 hours only and is in excellent condition. Problem: not sure if "great" deal and not sure about if footshift. I am comfortable with the ES, as my family has a Rancher ES and is fine, but not sure if I should wait for an automatic to pop up? Your advice would be great! Thanks Ryan

power steering i can do without, and i would take the floor shift anyday over ES, I havent had a problem with the ES on mine and its been in water, though i did seal all electrical on it..but after reading all the threads on /es problems its still in the back of my mind.

PS to me would be pretty nice. Even though the Foremans steer easily, when you clip that rock or stump hidden in the grass at the side of the trail, the bars can really kick back hard.

I would also prefer foot shift, since it is simpler, and I prefer the motorcycle like shifting (but then that's a personal preference).

Anyway, I'd say go for it.

Good deal. The PS is great to use in the day to day - more useful on rougher ground and technical. Good damping on the steering. Reliable too.
Footchange is reliable. price is right.
What year is it? there was a recall at some stage.

I have an 08 ES with PS. Love it. Some people like the manual shift over the ES, which is fine. I don't mind the ES and wanted it for my wife.

The PS though is great and I won't own another machine without it. Makes a huge difference IMO.

$5000 is a good price too for a machine with 14 hours. I paid $5000 for mine, and it had about 38 hours, so the same ball park. Mine has a winch installed so I thought I got a pretty good deal, but even without a winch it's a decent price I think.

BTW, since the PS came out in 07 and the machine hasn't changed any in that time, then I don't think the year matters all that much, but if it's an 07 try to get him down a few more hundred just on principle.
