Wayne National Forest ?

I was wanting to know some info on Wayne National Forest in Ohio is it worth the 4 hour drive to ride there and how big is it how many days would it take you to ride it all and what are the rules there and what type of trails are they mud hardpack hills rocks creeks i have a Sportsman 500 with 26" outlaws would i need the outlaws there or would it be better stock. And when does it open to atvs and when is the best time to go. thanks

grizhunterr-- In my opinion, it's worth a 6 hr. drive to ride WNF. The terrain varies widely. From bottomless mud pits, to sand, to hard pack(depending on weather) clay---red or that nasty blue-black stuff, take your pick. There is a good mix of FAST, ridgeback trails and more technical hollows and LOTS of hills. The name of the game here is MUD!!!! The area I am refering to is near Logan, Oh. Find SR33 and SR595. You can obtain a map from---topozone.com
There should be a state website for more info.

We went to Wayne last year and the trails are nice. There are hills, mud, and open areas. You will need a permit to ride the system. More information came be found by using Yahoo and typing in "Wayne National Forrest". Plenty of clay, so watch out for your radiator getting plugged up. We would like to go again sometime.
