91 250x worth?

Default 91 250x worth?
Ive got a 91 250x that needs trans work. Engine doesnt run and its stuck in gear. PLastics are fair and has exhaust, k&n filter. What should i ask for it?

in my area you;d get about 600

Really.....$600 for a non runner.

In my area you might get that for one in running condition.......but in the above condition you would be lucky to sell it for 150 - 200.

he didnt say it doesnt run, he said it needs transmission work

A couple hundred dollars tops is what I would expect from a private party.
About one hundred from a salvage yard if it has good tires.

If it was an 86 TRX250X it'd be worth a lot. Those were extremely rare.

Well I just bought a 1992 250x for $1000, but it has a freshly rebuilt motor and runs good. I would say to ask a couple hundred for it.
