Hi there guys I am rebuilding my 1988 honda fourtrax and got to the battery but I am missing something. There is one plug that I can't find it counterpart, it is a small looks pink and white wire. There does not seem to be a visible other end. Please help.

If anyone has a pic of the battery bay with the wire showing that would be fantastic..

 

Here is the wire in question. It looks like it runs to the key switch but not sure were it plugs into.

 

Pink is accessory wire ..
Pink/white goes to "bat3" on ignition switch

still don't know where i could find the other plug though lol, i took the skin off again and still don't understand where it went

 

If you have this generation 300 can you please post a pic or quick vid to were this wire goes. It is somewhere in the battery bay i suspect but i may be missing it connection.

 

Ok it appears that the wire is accually solid pink.. still no pic guys?

 

If you look on the picture of the 1988-91 wiring diagram above you will see the pink wire is accessory wire ..

 

The pink wire was orginally taped into the wire harness ..

that is so strange cuz i remember unpluging it form something just don't really remember what. For some reason I am not getting any lights on the dash lit. hmmm
