I'm looking to buy an ATV for trail riding. I've always been into Honda's since that's what most people ride around my area. I'm looking into the 400ex or 700xx. Personally, I've never owned a quad, but I've ridden others and won't kill myself with the power of the 700xx... I don't think. But a 400 is plenty of power for me.

Here are the prices I'm looking at with a dealer about 100 miles from my house that I'm going to visit soon. I wanted to get your opinion on these deals and if you think they are good.

2009 TRX400X for $3489
2008 700XX for $3,989

And could also get a 2008 YFZ450 for $3,789

Both are used, but look nearly brand new from the pictures.

Which one should I go with?

I guess it depends on what kind of riding you will do. I do know that the 400 is one of the best all around trail quads ever made.

 

That is a good price. I have two 03 400ex's that I could sale for 2000 each easy.
