Hey everyone,

I am looking at a 2006 Honda Rancher 400FA for my girlfriend who is currently riding a Recon and wants a little more comfort in her ride. It has 1300 miles on it and from what I have seen it is all around good shape. I haven't seen it personally yet but from the pictures it looks good.

I am going to look at it tomorrow and want to know what you guys think it is worth. He is asking $3600.00. It blue books retail for $3610.00. I don't know what blue book is worth as a reference point if it is high or low.

I was thinking of offering $3200.00 and settling at $3400.00.

What do you think?

Prices will vary by region and blue book may be a reference, but may not determine what the market is a the time. Now it's the start of summer and it would be safe to assume it's more of a sellers market.

Best thing to do is check the local classified, craigslist and any other places ads may be placed in your area and get an idea of what the market is like where you're at.
