I cared-thats why i bought the raptor. At the price you can now get a 400ex i really with they had reverse. You can't always just spin it around, besides with 2 rods and 6 screws in my back that one more thing that i should not be doing.Reverse on the 400 would have saved me 1500.dollars.

Although I do not mind having no reverse (banshee) there are times that it is greatly appreciated on bikes when there is reverse, Like in a mudhole. Nothing worse than getting stuck in a hole, only to get off and "pack" your bike out of it, Just to watch someone on a reverse equipped bike get stuck, slip it into reverse, and back out. BTW, If I am feeling really lazy, I can roll by bike backwards by "peddling" the front tires with my feet (as nerf bars make it difficult to touch the ground
).

I don't care it it has reverse, I don't really need it. If i need to turn around i just find a hill and drive up it and coast down or use my feet to push it back or get off and turn it around. My dad wishes it had it when he uses it for hunting, but that is not really what it is made for anyway.
It is a good thing that raptors have reverse because the grab bar is high so its hard to pick up and it is more heavy than 400ex's.

O you poor crybaby!!!
Some people might want the reverse if they are spending that much money for a bike. If they would have revese alot more people would buy them over a Raptor, b/ not everyone wants the best and fastest, they just want something to cruise on, and that is what the 400EX is awesome at. Actually it is awesome at everything except for a drag, but why would reverse hurt?
Kick starting a 400EX? Have you ever started one in the winter, when it takes forever to start and keep running?

It's like anything else...once you have tasted reverse...you will miss it!
Ever get stuck in a trail with 2 feet high sides and is only as large as the quad...with mud to top it all off?! I have and pushing or pulling a quad 30 feet because it cannot be turned isn't very fun.
If you have never had reverse...you won't know what your missing!

This is something very uncommon, A REAL RIDER.Reverse is not a need, it is a want for lazy casual riders. It is needed, come on!! what about all the riders before now, what did they do, how did they ride without reverse, how did they not get "beat" after one trail ride without that reqired reverse, what if they ride to a point where the trail stops what to do!what to do!If ever there is a hope for a real high performance machine again, I hope and pray none of the manufactuers are reading any of these posts by these people.
