Hey guys. I've got a rancher 420 with es that im having problems with. The atv was stuck in reverse and would not shift with the es or manual. i pulled the motor and removed the shift motor, and it sounded like a spring was unwinding. After I did that, it still wouldn't shift manually. So I took the back cover off, and used a flathead on the shift drum and it will shift through all gears. so i need some suggestions on what this might be. any help would be greatly appreciated.
