Default Front wheel removal 1984 200S HELP!!!

How in the world do I remove the front wheel from my 84 Honda 200s. I followed the manual and removed the 4 bolts holding the axle and the brake cable. The book says to loosen the axle but I've tried clockwise, counterclockwise, trying to punch it out from the brake side, I am stuck and don't want to screw anything up. Am I missing something? Is there a trick I don't know of? I would appreciate any help. thanks, Billyzack

After you remove the 4 bolts that hold the axle to the forks, the axle unthreads from the other side of the forks. This is a common problem with 200s's, I had one and took the axle off and it never threaded back in right. So be careful that you dont ruin the threads which is easy to do. Try a little heat and keep soaking it with PB blaster. After that there is four bolts holding the rim to the hub which shouldn't be a problem to remove.
