I have been doing some digging on performance parts for the wifes recon. I have found several aftermarket cdi's for sale. Some people say that they are a waste of money, and others have said that it really made a difference. I know that they do increase the redline another 1,000 or so - but that is not why I am looking at them. The change in the timing curve, could be helpful, and some change how the charging system works to improve performance. Would like to hear from those who have actually installed one to get some feedback to see if it's worth the $50-$100. Thanks.
