Default 420 Rancher not sitting level

Hi Guys,

I was out in the garage cleaning off my rancher today and noticed that when nobody is on it its not sitting perfectly level, i noticed this because the front rack on the left side (left when looking at it front on) seems to be down maybe half an inch lower than the right side. Is it normal for an atv not to sit perfectly level? i know alot of full suspension off road vehicles probaly dont but its new so im picky lol. Also i mean is it just possible that the rack isnt level then again thats just a seperate part bolted on right maybe the bolt on one side is over torqued or something? anyone else notice this on their atv?

It could be just the rack but you can check by measuring from the floor to some part of the frame underneath. Get outboard as far as you can. A half inch is nothing to worry about but if you're picky, it can probably be fixed. Maybe it's something simple like the tires aren't filled equally. Front AND back.

so i went out again tonight, put the level on the front rack just to be sure and it is indeed about 1/4 inch or a bit more lower on one side, so i did all the measuring you mentioned etc and everything seems to be spot on, maybe im just being too pickey becasue its new and its my first atv, ive been known to be a bit picky haha

I think you need a shot of scotch. Then everything will look fine.

Tires pressure the same? Is the shocks set at the same preload?

Not sure about preload settings on the front shocks. I think all ATVs have preload settings on the rear shocks.

Looks like the rack just needs adjusting, the fenders look level.

I'm with TLC on this.

But on another note, do all Honda atvs come out looking like that in the front, as far as the wheels are concerned?
The wheel on the right(facing atv) looks straight and the one on the left is pointing out.

My 07 Rubicon was like that and when going straight, the bars were angled to the left while sitting on it, traveling in a straight line.

Does this 420 drive this way?
