2003 Honda Rincon 650 electronic shift question ?
Hello folks,
I was out on my ATV testing the electronic shift and I noticed the highest gear it will go in is 3 !! Is that the highest ? For some wierd reason I could have sworn I seen a higher number like 4 or 5 !! Maybe I'm imagining things !!
Thanks in advance !!

The Rincon transmission is unique in the ATV world in that it is an automotive type transmission, complete with torque converter. It is a 3 speed.
They are fairly high geared, and have no low range, which mainly means you have to use the brakes on steep and technical downhills, as it doesn't have the engine hold back other machines have.
The Rubicon is a continually variable hydrostatic auto that can be put in push button mode where it emulates a manual by letting you "shift" through 5 preset ratios.
Many of the auto clutch 5 speed manual transmissions are also available with push button electric shifting, as opposed to foot shift.
Hope that helps explain things...
