Need to know how to pull codes on a 2009 Rancher 420es 4x4. The quad belongs to my father in law. You can get it to shift but after riding for a very short time a - comes up on the gear indicator it stays in gear but will not allow you to shift it will occasionally flash whatever gear you are in but that is it. When I got up bye the barn I shut it off and turned the key back on and was able to shift it back to neutral by gentle rocking it while I hit the down shift button. Thank you for any help.
